Risk management

Identify opportunities – control risks.

Risk management poses one of the biggest challenges to businesses today.

In tight markets businesses have to be able to seize opportunities to assert or consolidate their market position. But opportunities always involve risks. The more effectively the risks are identified and brought under control, the sooner opportunities can be seized. Managing risks is therefore a key management task for businesses geared towards growth.

Without risk management, businesses will no longer receive loans in the future.

In the past, the law set down guidelines in the form of the Corporate Sector Supervision and Transparency Act (KonTraG) and the Corporate Governance Codex; however these guidelines passed many businesses by. Basel II deals with the same subject, but also has economic consequences: without risk management, businesses will no longer receive loans in the future. That is why the companies of the Aktiv Group have incorporated the legal guidelines in their services for many years.

What goes for businesses is just as applicable to employees and managers: with the demise of the welfare state, individuals have to take more responsibility for their financial future – they have to take on more risks themselves. Once again, the Aktiv Group has been a competent and future-oriented partner in the areas of company pension systems and private financial planning for many years.

The core competences of the Aktiv Group:

  • Identifying risks
